After umming and ahhing for many many months, I've finally taken the plunge and started this blog.
I was recently fortunate enough to become part of the "In Action" team, joining an extraordinarily talented and knowledgeable group of teacher authors, writing a book looking at John Dunlosky's famous paper: Strengthening The Student Toolbox. I wanted to start a blog for a few reasons:
To chronicle my process so that when I'm finished I can look back and reflect on where I started from and what I covered.
To share all of the amazing reading and research I'm coming across as a result of writing the book.
To do my bit to contribute to the amazing world of educational research
To encourage other colleagues out there explore their ideas and journal their ideas.
And most importantly, to provide some ideas that colleagues can use to develop their classroom practice and in doing so, help our future generations.
I hope you enjoy reading!
